MPOWER allows you to edit or update your applications based on the status of your application. Follow the steps below to update your application:
Before Application Submission
If you have started your application but have not yet submitted it, you will get an opportunity to update any details on the “Submit” page once you have completed filling out the application:
- Log in: Access your MPOWER Dashboard.
- Select Application: You can view all your applications under “My applications”. To edit or update a specific application, click “Complete Now” on the corresponding application card.
- Edit Application: Click on “Edit” against the specific category you want to edit, and navigate using the “Next” and “Back” buttons to toggle between the questions.
After Application Submission
If you've already submitted your application, contact MPOWER's relationship managers to update the following sections on your application before the decision on your loan application is received:
- Personal Information
- Educational Information
- Financial Information
- Employment Information
- Requested Loan Amount
Don’t forget to submit new documents for the updated information! You can learn more about the documents required here.
You will have to submit another application if you wish to edit the below fields:
- School: cannot be changed once you start the application
- Citizenship: cannot be changed once the application is submitted
After Loan Decision
If you have already received a loan decision, the following can be updated on the application:
- Approved: You can change the loan start date of your approved application via the “Defer my loan start date” option on your MPOWER dashboard. Click here to learn more about the deferral process of your approved loan.
- Declined: If you wish to challenge the decision with any additional information based on the reason for the decline, you need to wait 90 days before you can apply again.
