Yes, you can request to hold your MPOWER loan disbursement. This is available until MPOWER starts the process of sending funds to your school. Here's how to do it:
- Notify your school: If you wish to delay your loan disbursement, notify your school immediately.
- Log in to your MPOWER Portal.
- Enter your credentials: Log in using your registered email and password.
- Manage my loan: Navigate to the "My Loans" section and click "View Details" or “Complete Now” on the corresponding loan card to edit or update it.
- On the next page, click on “View details” and scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Request a delay: At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the link “Hold my loan”. Click on this.
- Select the disbursement you’d like to place a hold on and click Next.
- Select a relevant reason for requesting the hold and click Next.
- Review and submit your request for our team to review and process.
