Yes, you receive a “Financial/Visa Support Letter” as part of the approval process along with your approval letter (Approval Truth in Lending document) at no additional cost which can be used towards your I-20 or visa application process.

Your visa support letter will detail your approved loan amount, university/school name, purpose of the funds, etc.

New Applicant: Start your application if you have not already applied for the loan.

Already Applied for a Loan: We will get back to you with your loan application decision. Once approved, you should receive your support letter via email. You can check the current status of your application on your MPOWER Dashboard.

Already Approved: All your loan documents will be available for quick access within the “details” page of your application(s), under the “Loan Documents” collapsible section at the bottom of the page. Check your inbox for the email with the subject line “Your MPOWER letter of support” to find the visa support letter sent to you.

Canada

Students attending Canadian universities do not receive a visa/financial support letter from MPOWER.

Dont worry! You will receive an approval letter for your loan with all the required details to help you with your visa application process.
