If you no longer live in your home country, provide documentation from your last permanent address in the country. We can accept documents with family members' names, along with their photo ID and a note indicating your relationship.
Proof of U.S./Canadian address
If you have not yet moved to the U.S., you can provide your school's address. As soon as you find housing, provide MPOWER with your new address.
Passport/ID
All IDs must be valid, unexpired and government-issued. Primary IDs must have a photo. All international students are required to use their passport as a primary ID.
I-20/Visa/Study Permit
You can submit your application even if you do not yet have an I-20, visa or study permit. MPOWER will provide documents to assist with the visa process, if approved. All required immigration documents must be received by MPOWER before funds can be sent to your school.
